Mr. Rugged Boy Next Door

Posted in Men, Movie, actors tagged , , at 6:25 am by rantsandreads

From the obnoxious boyfriend in the hit Wedding Crashers to the starring role in this summer’s blockbuster hit The Hangover, Bradley Cooper is a man to keep on our well-tuned womanly radar. His sex appeal oozes like the gel he slicks his long locks with. Anyone else think he looks hotter with a 5  O’ Clock shadow and long hair, please raise your hand. I know I sure do.

i’ll admit. i was a little apprehensive about imagining karl urban as star trek’s dr. mccoy, especially after seeing him as a eomer, that “tough guy” from rohan in the lord of the rings films. but after actually seeing the film, i’m convinced. karl nailed the mannerisms and personality of dr. mccoy wonderfully. i imagine there will be a lot of zachary quinto gals out there after the release of this film, but i’ll stick to karl urban. :)

Be honest, how many of you had a crush on Zack Morris? Well, I certainly did. Mr. Gosselaar still looks quite handsome these days. Catch him on Raising the Bar, on TNT.

Speaking of Saved by the Bell, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon is trying to get the cast together in celebration of Saved by the Bell’s 20th Anniversary. Check it out the video here, and sign the petition!

Chris Martin of Coldplay is poetic, good-looking, and talented. Coldplay is known worldwide, and their fan base only continues to grow. How could anyone resist this smile?

Smoldering good looks? Check

Fanatic teen following? Check

Robert Pattinson has captured the hearts of every female aged 13 to probably 50, who has read the Stephanie Meyer Twilight series. Edward Cullen is the perfect male in the history of literature…right? He made his major on screen appearance opposite Daniel Radcliffe as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, but how many of you remember him as Reese Witherspoon’s son in Vanity Fair?

I hope you all enjoy Twlight this weekend!!

Mr. Wolverine Sideburns

Ah, we here can never get enough of the men of Interpol, particularly the guitarist with those outrageous sideburns, Daniel Kessler. As the heart and soul of the band, Daniel Kessler is not only the founder of Interpol, but he also plays a key element in the final editing stages of all the tunes. We can all thank his blessed ears for providing us with some very good music.

Born in Wales, Christian Bale has kept his accent pretty well hidden as Bruce Wayne. Personally, I think he’s the hottest Bruce Wayne yet. :)

Also, if you get a chance, check him out in The Prestige. It’s a wonderful story and Mr. Bale does a great job. Not to mention, another one of my favorites has a small part in it.

Repeat post…or blurb? :)

I just feel the need to reiterate the hotness that is Sting.  I got to see the Police in concert last night and they were amazing. At 57 years old, Sting is in awesome shape, and his voice is just as alluring.

At 6′4″ and the first born son of the late Princess Diana and Prince Charles, Prince William is one commanding force for the youth generation of this world. Prince William has come a long way from the shy boy hiding behind his mum’s skirts as a young child. William has grown up gracefully under the watchful eye of a world full of drooling girls. His charm, his good looks, and his genuine concern for humanity are all the qualities of a perfect King and a more than perfect man.

Mr. 70s Geek

Topher Grace played the geeky Eric Forman for quite a few years on That 70s show. His character was particularly geeky when compared to Hyde or Kelso. Even Fez was cool in his own way. Topher’s taking on more mature roles now, so maybe we’ll see less geek. Guess we’ll have to hold onto Topher’s portrayal of the witty, smart-ass geek via That 70s show.
